"Large yet gentle giants, Catruca are notoriously friendly and enjoy spending their time lounging in trees with their fellow nest mates. They are a tightly knit social species that form strong bonds with their families and occasionally with members from other nests. These massive nests create quite the spectacle for anyone who happens to stumble upon them–though some people find them rather inconvenient. Striking and beautiful, Catruca are covered in powerful silk, which is used in luxury goods such as fine robes and saddles. Unfortunately, this has led to a shocking decline in their numbers, making them a rare sight. Despite their rarity, they are frequently sought after by tamers around the world for their friendly demeanor and the valuable silk they produce–sure to make any tamer rich.
